As told by: Roxanne Weber Editor in Chief.  CremeMagnolia.net.  Last night (Feb 4, 2010) I received an email from Karen.  It stated, in a nutshell, "Small detour, Am in the hospital with possible heart attack and they will be doing tests tomorrow.  No need to call, I'll let you know more later."  Well needless to say I was a bit surprised by her seemingly clam response to the whole ordeal.  I, on the other hand, did nto respond calming but quickly fired back an email that said "You WHAT?"  Of course by the time I had received this email it was too late to phone her a the hospital, but I was able to reach her this morning, and she is doing well.  The short of it is she has been having some chest pains for the past few days, but thought it was simply nerves, and working long hours.  Finally she went to her docotor, only to have them cart her off in an ambulance to the hospital because of her erratic and extraordinarily high EKG readings.  They are planning to do more tests this morning, but in the meantime, she is relaxed and resting well (both doctor's orders and mine.)  Please say a prayer for her complete recovery.  You can write her care of Roxanne's email above.
