Life throws many challenges at us.  Regardless of whether it be financial, familial, health or career challenge, the way we approach these obstacles has a common theme.  Optimism is a key...salespeople often use an assumptive sales approach with clients and we also need an assumptive victory with our other life challenges.  It's one thing to be optimistic but without action there is no victory.  Actively working toward a solution is critical and with your health examples of this action are physical fitness, eating right, researching and absorbing information.  A third element to overcoming challenges is a support network.  This is broader than most people think.  Obviously, family is source 1.  However, when you share your story, friends and colleagues and even complete strangers will become vital components (i.e., your "Angels").  Then there is your extended support network at church, at places you volunteer and of course at Michelle's Angels.  Good Luck with your battle and just know that there a many people out there who care and can help.
