Herb Knoll is the surviving spouse of the Michelle’s Angels namesake, Michelle Renee Knoll who passed away on March 7, 2008. A retired bank executive, Knoll has served in a senior executive roll at several banking institutions including Bank of America, Farm Bureau Bank, Key Bank and as president of Marketplace Bank in Florida.
A native of Western New York, Knoll has a history of community involvement in leadership roles as either a director or trustee at: WNED Educational Television (Albany, New York); Studio Arena Theatre (Buffalo); Rochester Neighborhood Housing Services (Rochester, New York); Junior Achievement of Nashville, Tennessee; Nap Ford Community School (Orlando, Florida – Charter Member of the Board); Albany Regional Chamber of Commerce/Albany Economic Development Committee (Albany, New York); Alleyway Theatre (Buffalo, New York). Knoll attended Erie Community College, served as a weekly columnist for the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle and served the United States Army Reserves 98th Division as a Drill Sergeant.
Born in Buffalo, New York, Knoll has three adult children and currently resides in Florida.
