Zgoda has been a self-employed Certified Public Accountant for the past 35 years.  He owns his own firm, a family operation with his wife Cathy and son Todd M. Zgoda, CPA.   He is also a 50% shareholder and Chairman of the Board of a local manufacturing business.

Zgoda has held officer positions in numerous community organizations including:  Jaycees, church organizations, youth sports and a Catholic Youth Organization for a number of years.  He is currently active in Angel Flights, NE.  Zgoda has spent three years with the Taxpayer Advocacy which is a national panel of 100 citizens appointed by the New York State Secretary of State.  He now works with the Buffalo and Rochester, New York Taxpayers Liaison Committees.

Born and raised in Western New York State, Zgoda has been married to his high school sweetheart for 38 years.  They have three adult children and have been blessed with four grandchildren.
