MAF Volunteer Alicia Lee of Dallas, Texas recently learned she is in need of a kidney transplant. To assist Alicia in locating a kidney donor, the MAF is conducting an awareness campaign entited: All I Want For Christmas Is A Kidney For My Friend.
The MAF campaign is intended to create awareness not only about Alilcia's need, but about the nearly 83,000 people who are waiting for a kidney transplant as well. According to the National Kidney Foundation, a number of patients die each day waiting for a donor.
